LAS Artist Certified by Hahnemuhle

LAS Artists and Photographer, Scott Mead, was recently awarded by Hahnemühle Fine Art as a Certified Studio for advanced education in archivability and print longevity, and for outstanding levels of color management workflow, color matching and non-destructive image processing.

"Scott's drive to deliver consistent, color-matched artwork is truly remarkable," noted Carol Boss, Marketing Manager of Hahnemühle USA. "His amazing images, combined with his depth of knowledge on proper printing practices and print longevity, ensure consistency in his editions, and that they will last for future generations to enjoy."

Hahnemühle started its Certified Studio program in 2011, and currently has 125 world-wide. Mead is the only Certified Studio in the state of Hawaii.
Since 1584, Hahnemühle has been creating unique and beautiful papers from pure spring water and first-class pulps. Traditional recipes are still used to make papers which inspire photographers, painters, graphic artists, illustrators and bookbinders. Mead utilizes Hahnemühle's Sugar Cane, Bamboo and Rice papers, as well as Harman canvas in his limited editions.

On a final note, LAS Artist and photographer Scott Mead’s work was recently highlighted in an advertisement by Hahnemuhle Paper (which was founded in 1584), in PDN (Photo District News), a national photography magazine.
